A modern twist on hometown heritage

Located just west of the St. George metro area, Santa Clara is home to a rapidly growing population. Settled by predominantly Swiss pioneers in the mid-to-late 1800's, Santa Clara still maintains a close-knit, hometown feel.

Make your way down Santa Clara Drive and you'll find historic homes and landmarks aplenty, as well as the town's famous "Frei's Fruit Stand" where you can pick up locally grown produce. This area of town is full of towering trees that provide continuous shade throughout the day, and lend a charming feel to the city's main road.

With a quick trip across the river, newer builds and luxury homes abound. The popular Santa Clara Hills development sits against the banks of river, and features some of the town's largest homes. Above the main drag, you'll find Santa Clara Heights, a labyrinth of cul-de-sacs and micro-communities where you're sure to see friendly neighbors of all ages. 

Santa Clara is a city with a strong sense of heritage that you'll notice in its landmarks, historical sites, parks, and local celebrations. Each September, the city celebrates Swiss Days, a classic hometown tradition rich with history and full of fun! The celebration is a tribute to the town's heritage, and includes a 5K run, community pancake breakfast, and parade down Santa Clara Drive. The festival continues for three days at Town Hall, and features local food and merchandise vendors, continuous entertainment from local professional and student musicians, chalk art, games, and more. It's an event the community treasures, and that you're sure to love.
